its line-up for November and it's a stacked installment for Sony's subscription service. The new crop of games coming to PS Plus and PS Plus Extra features a combination of established hits and more recent releases, including one of the most popular titles of all time. Whether subscribers are looking to delve into a digital world filled with monsters or embark upon a quest in 1860s Japan, November comes packed with a decent variety of experiences that should give everyone something to play.

Per the official PlayStation Blog, Sony parted the curtain on all the games players can expect to arrive on November 19:

  • Grand Theft Auto 5 (PS4, PS5)
  • Dying Light 2 Stay Human (PS4, PS5)
  • Like a Dragon: Ishin! (PS4, PS5)
  • MotoGP 24 (PS4, PS5)
  • The Sims 4: Island Living (PS4)
  • Digimon Survive (PS4)
  • Overcooked! All You Can Eat (PS4, PS5)
  • Stick Fight: The Game (PS4)
  • Clash: Artifacts of Chaos (PS4, PS5)
  • Killer Frequency (PS4, PS5)
  • Hungry Shark World (PS4)
  • Chivalry 2 (PS4, PS5)

Beyond these titles, players can also expect five new games to PlayStation Plus . These are the action-packed VR shooter Synapse and a collection of classics that include Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain, Blood Omen 2, Resistance: Fall of Man, and Resistance 2.

Which PS Plus Games Are Worth Your Time?

They're All Great Depending On Who You Ask

The biggest addition to PS Plus is likely Grand Theft Auto 5 but considering how many people have already played Rockstar's monolithic open-world game, subscribers might be looking for something new. Dying Light 2 is a great time for those who want a meaty zombie adventure filled with slick parkour and an expansive gear system; Just don't expect much out of the story since the writing isn't memorable. Digimon Survive is an interesting combination of visual novel and tactical RPG which is perfect for fans of the franchise while Overcooked! should make for an excellent (if occasionally tense) co-op experience.

Those who want more multiplayer fun out of the kitchen should check out Stick Fight: The Game which hides a kinetic, fast-paced multiplayer brawler behind its simple visuals. Chivalry 2 will provide all the violent medieval action players should ever need but if some more historical drama is called for, Like a Dragon: Ishin! has it in spades. One last shout-out should be made for Killer Frequency, an appropriately moody horror game that may have missed the Halloween window but is still great fun to play now.

November Is A Great Month For PS Plus

Where Does One Even Start?

Like a Dragon: Ishin Sakamoto Ryoma Practicing Sword Techniques for Swordsman Fighting Style.

As far as my recommendations go, I have to double down on Like a Dragon: Ishin! Not only is it an excellent remaster of the PlayStation 3 original, it serves as a fantastic jumping-in point for those who may be intimidated by the amount of Like a Dragon games on the market. Its story can be tough to follow at times but the fluid combat and dramatic turns are worth the time investment.
