Great news for release date has been leaked! The release date is January 20, 2023, and while it's still a few months away, there are still plenty of cards to collect and content to play and watch.One part of the great content is the great characters and groups. One group, in particular, is Team Rocket, and their popular trio of Jessie, James, and Meowth. Despite being the villains that Ash and his crew encounter, they have become fan favorites, and due to their many failed plans to steal Pikachu, catchphrases, and costume designs, they have inspired many great memes.
When The Costume Is That Bad
A disguise can work well when trying to blend in with a particular crowd, but the trio isn't known for their intelligence. If anything, Team Rocket is known for its ridiculous and sometimes idiotic ideas.
Among the many memes made about Team Rocket, their costumes are always a big topic. They've been decent from time to time, but most of them have been horrible. One would think they would learn their lesson the first time, but it makes for good memes.
Once Again
There are plenty of great memes that perfectly sum up Team Rocket. Their interactions, mannerisms, and ridiculous plans continue to inspire the creation of hilarious images, and there are plenty of them.
The mission is to capture Pikachu, and Team Rocket continuously fails at completing the task. One individual decided that the best way to depict them threatening to take Pikachu is by using the depiction of two Bernie Sanders wearing the hairstyles of Jessie and James and asking Ash to give them Pikachu, and it works very well in this case.
Don't Question The Logic
Aside from the anime's unique setting, there are many other things in the series considered unique. One thing that falls under that category is Jessie's hair.
Jessie's hair is very different from other characters. If she turns around, it's the same as it was before. No difference in angle, just the way it was when she was turned in a different direction. Fans have determined that her hair defies the laws of physics and that they are perfectly okay with this.
Never Met Them Before!
Ash Ketchum may be considered a great Pokémon trainer and friend, but he's not the best at observing his surroundings and the people around him, including not recognizing Team Rocket when they are wearing terrible costumes.
Despite Jessie and James's hairstyles that they've had throughout the entire series while they are in costume, Ash doesn't seem to recognize them. His friends also seem to have the same issue, and one of the best ways to describe such a moment is by using this still image of Loki saying what Ash and his friends must be thinking every time.
Evil Can Wait
Team Rocket is considered the evil, goofy group of characters from the series. However, there is more to them than just that. The trio is very close and has been for quite some time. Their loyal partner and most useful Pokémon, Meowth, had fallen ill, and despite being evil, Jessie and James took care of their partner.
The humorous quote and scene from the show can be easily described by using an example from the group Bad-Anon from the movie Wreck-It Ralph, because they may be evil, but not entirely.
Terrible Employees
Team Rocket may have a few things going for them, such as their taste in clothing and their most powerful Pokémon. But one thing they are not good at is their job.
There is a scene in the anime where Jessie and James meet for the first time, and the two act like they are unstoppable and tough. While they can't be stopped in their pursuit, the group can never catch a break, and everyone needs to remind them of their failures in the funniest ways possible.
But Wait There's More!
The group has occasionally been victorious, at least for a brief amount of time. But this accomplishment does not last very long, and the team is reminded that they are destined to fail.
When Team Rocket has had a moment of triumph, they have to boast and enjoy the moment. But by the time they stop and try to complete the job, Ash and his friends show up and stop them, and it always happens towards the very end of the episode. Billy Mays is also always there to remind them that they don’t have much time left.
Yelling At Cat
While it's never a good thing to do, the blame game does happen frequently, sometimes even between friends and coworkers. Team Rocket may be close, but they are not always very nice to each other and can and will point the finger at each other.
One of them that will occasionally receive this treatment is Meowth. Due to the amount of finger-pointing in the group, the iconic and hilarious image of the screaming woman pointing at the cat meme was used for this scenario, which works very well here.
Shocked!
The number of times when shock and awe have been expressed in the anime series is practically endless due to the discoveries the characters make and the great Pokémon designs that fans are introduced to. One example of such an event that occurs in almost every episode is the amazing discovery of Team Rocket.
Among the many memes that involve the "shocking" plot twist of Team Rocket in disguise, one of the best features Joey Tribbiani from Friends. His expression is perfect for this scenario, and it's hilarious to see him wearing Ash's hairstyle and hat.

The trio has provided the series with plenty of humorous moments, from their poorly executed plans to their costumes. There is always something entertaining with them and one thing that fans love and find amusing is the team's attitude.
The group is known for being sassy and having witty comebacks. These comebacks and jokes occur between themselves and are frequently thrown at Ash and his friends. One scene that continues to make fans grin is the insult that Jessie and James throw at Misty, and this meme is a fantastic depiction of what fans thought when they heard it.
