Hisuian Zorua is one of the few new variants of Pokémon introduced in previous games that is part of Pokémon Legends: Arceusand it's one of the Pokémon that players can add to their team as they complete the game. Hisuian Zorua isn't just different in appearance from the Unova variation, it's also an entirely different typing. Instead of being a Dark-type Pokémon, Hisuian Zorua is a Normal- and Ghost-type Pokémon.

Being a Ghost-type and Normal-type Pokémon in Legends: Arceus gives Hisuian Zorua a few unique traits that are inaccessible to most Pokémon. As a Ghost-type, Hisuian Zorua is immune to both Normal- and Fighting-type attacks, and its Normal typing allows it to be immune to Ghost-type attacks as well. Ghost-type Pokémon also have Poison-type and Bug-type move resistances, and because it is immune to Ghost-type attacks Hisuian Zorua is only weak to Dark-type attacks in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Hisuian Zorua can only be found in the Alabaster Icelands in the underground tunnels of Bonechill Wastes, which can be accessed from the right side toward the mountain or the left side close to Arena's Approach. At least one Hisuian Zorua should spawn down there whenever players re-enter the Alabaster Icelands, and after some time has ed since they captured the last Zorua if players choose not to leave the area. Additionally, Alabaster Icelands is one of the last areas unlocked before players beat and complete the Pokémon Legends: Arceus story, so they should have plenty of strong enough Pokémon to battle it since Hisuian Zorua's levels are only higher 20s.

Where To Find & Capture Hisuian Zorua In Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Pokémon Legends: Arceus Hisuian Zorua and Zoruark

Hisuian Zorua will be in one of the dead ends of the tunnel system, or directly in the fork between paths. The underground tunnel system of Bonechill Wastes is almost a straight line, so players should be able to find the dead-end area with ease. Hisuian Zorua will stand its ground and try to fight, so the best way to capture one is by entering battle and throwing an Ultra Ball at it. Since Hisuian Zorua is only in the higher 20s, players should be easily able to catch it with one Ultra Ball in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, or a probable max of three, without even damaging it.

Ultra Balls can be crafted once players reach Star Rank level six in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, which can be easily obtained by catching more Pokémon in the areas preceding the Alabaster Icelands. Additionally, Zorua evolves into Hisuian Zoroark at level 30, and it can be taught moves like Sludge Bomb, Flamethrower, Dark Pulse, and Bitter Malice, giving it an edge in battle with plenty of moves to cover different types of Pokémon.
