Completing the Pokédex is more important in Pokémon Legends: Arceus than ever before, and players will have to find and catch Gible on their quest to seek every Pokémon in the Hisui region. Originally introduced in Gen IV, Gible can evolve into one of the strongest Pokémon in the game, and its offensive stats make it a strong attacker even in its unevolved form. Every member of Gible’s evolutionary line can be found and caught in the wild, but Gible is, of course, the most common among them.

Known as the Land Shark Pokémon, Gible is a pseudo-legendary that has been notoriously hard to catch throughout the Pokémon series. However, Pokémon Legends: Arceus makes it relatively easy to catch this little dragon, which makes completing its Pokédex entry much easier as well. Players can increase Gible’s Research Level in the Pokédex by catching several of them in the wild, but they can also observe their Gible using certain moves in battle to raise its Research Level much faster.

As a Dragon/Ground-Type Pokémon, Gible is resistant to Fire, Rock, Electric, and Poison-Type attacks, but it’s weak to Ice, Fairy, and other Dragon-Types. Gible is also completely immune to Electric-Type moves. Fortunately, Gible is easy to train in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, evolving into Gabite at level 24 and Garchomp at level 48. Garchomp’s stats put it on par with many of the Legendary Pokémon that players will have to catch in the game, which makes it a great team member as players progress through the postgame of Legends: Arceus.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus - All Gible Locations

Gible appears in the Wayward Cave of Pokemon Legends: Arceus

Pokémon Legends: Arceus players will first encounter Gible in the Coronet Highlands area of Hisui. Gible appears in the Clamberclaw Cliffs and Wayward Cave areas, and since it’s a common spawn, players should be able to catch plenty of Gible and complete its Pokédex entry in no time. A level 56 Alpha Gabite can also be found roaming in the Clamberclaw Cliffs area, which players can immediately evolve into Alpha Garchomp if they manage to catch it.

In addition to the Coronet Highlands area, Gible can also be found and caught in the Alabaster Icelands of Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The Gible that can be caught in this area tend to be at a higher level than the Gible in the Coronet Highlands, and some of them may be caught at a high enough level to evolve them into Gabite immediately. Players will encounter Gible on the Avalanche Slopes, but they’ll have to keep an eye out for the aggressive level 85 Alpha Garchomp that stalks this area as well.
