In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, players may want to evolve Roselia into Roserade to add a powerful Grass/Poison-type Pokémon to their team and work toward completing their Pokédex. In addition to evolving Roselia into Roserade, players will also have the opportunity to catch Roselia's pre-evolved form, the baby Pokémon Budew. To evolve Budew into Roselia, players will need to have a high level of friendship with the small seedling Pokémon. To evolve Roselia, players will need an evolutionary item, the Shiny Stone.
To find the baby Pokémon Budew in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, players should travel near the Mirelands Camp and search for the small green and yellow Pokémon. Once caught, players will need to evolve Budew into Roselia by increasing its friendship and then level it up one time during the day. If players want to their Friendship Level with a Pokémon, they can interact with the NPC Belaney near the Pastures in Jubilife Village. To increase their friendship with a Pokémon, players should battle with it, give it items, and crack open ore with it.
If players would prefer to catch a Roselia in Legends: Arceus in the wild, they should search in the Cloudpool Ridge, which is located South of the Brave Arena where players battle the second Noble Pokemon. Roselia also can be the featured Pokémon during a mass outbreak in Pokémon Legends: Arceus in the Crimson Mirelands. This will greatly increase the spawn rates of Roselia and notably improve the player's chances to catch a shiny Roselia. Players will find an abundance of wild Roselia in this area, so they should have plenty of opportunities to catch the green and floral Pokémon. Additionally, players may find an Alpha Roserade while searching in Cloudpool Ridge.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus: How To Find & Use A Shiny Stone For Roserade
Once players have successfully caught a Roselia in the wild or evolved their Budew into Roselia, they will need a Shiny Stone to evolve it into Roserade. One of the easier in-game methods to find this evolutionary item is finding one from Tumblestone ores in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. These ores are visibly poking out of the ground, and players can send out their Pokémon to break the ore and obtain the various items inside. If the Tumblestone ore is sparkling, that indicates it contains a rare material, such as a potential Shiny Stone.
Players can also acquire a Shiny Stone from the Trading Post in Jubilife Village. Purchasing a Shiny Stone from the Trading Post may require a lot of grinding, as it will cost 1,200 Merit Points. Players can only acquire Merit Points by returning Lost Satchels, which only average about 50 Merit Points per satchel. A much easier way to obtain the Shiny Stone is to complete the Request 74, "A Bit Of Help From Blissey." Once players complete this Request in Pokémon Legends: Arceus by catching Blissey and defeating Abomasnow, they will be rewarded with a Shiny Stone and two Max Revive items.
Additionally, players have a small chance of finding a Shiny Stone in Legends: Arceus on the ground inside Space-Time Distortion Zones or by digging with the Pokémon Ursaluna. Once players have found a Shiny Stone, they can give the evolutionary item to Roselia to evolve it into Roserade, which is identifiable by its green body and flower hands with white hair.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus is now available for the Nintendo Switch.
