In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the Razor Claw is an evolutionary item used to evolve Sneasel and Hisuian Sneasel, a Fighting- and Poison-type Hisuian variant of the classic Ice- and Dark-type Pokémon. Both Sneasel and Hisuian Sneasel are available for capture in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and both have different evolutions. Johtonian Sneasel will evolve into Weavile during the night while Hisuian Sneasel will evolve into Sneasler during the day.
Trainers will need to obtain all of these Pokémon to complete the Pokédex and unlock the Shiny Charm item. In order to evolve either Sneasel into their new form, players will need to obtain one of Legends: Arecus' Razor Claws. This is an evolutionary item first introduced in Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl that also increases the holder's critical hit ratio, and Trainers will need to collect at least two of them to receive both Weavile and Sneasler.

The only purpose of the Razor Claw in the entire Pokémon series is exclusively to help Sneasel evolve. No other Pokémon use the Razor Claw in Arceus.
Where to Get Razor Claw in Arceus
Fortunately, there are many different ways to get Razor Claws in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The first method is by purchasing them using Merit Points in Jublife Village. The Trading Post will sell Arceus players a Razor Claw for 1,400 Merit Points. Merit points are rewarded to trainers who are able to pick up fallen players' satchels when exploring the wild. Returning these awards players with up to 100 Merit Points each.
Razor Claws can also be purchased from Ginter in Jubilife Village. His items are swapped out every day, so make sure to pay attention to what he's selling. If Ginter mentions that he's selling a "Mystery Claw," this is the Razor Claw and will sell for 10,000 Poké Dollars. There's also a chance to find Razor Claws in Legends: Arceus inside Space-Time Distortions. Arceus' Space-Time Distortions can randomly appear around the map and will spawn Pokémon from different time periods.
Running around through Space-Time Distortions while trying to find Razor Claws in Legends: Arceus is also a great time to farm other materials and Pokémon!
Finally, there is a chance that Wild Sneasel will drop a Razor Claw after it has been defeated or captured. Although this is completely luck-based and Sneasel itself can be fairly difficult to find, this is a valid method of finding Razor Claws in Arceus. Sneasel are located in Arceus' Alabaster Icelands and Coronet Highlands in the following sub-regions:

Again, even if it is found there's no guarantee Sneasel will drop a Razor Claw. Regardless, one of these four methods will work toward obtaining a Razor Claw for Sneasel.
How to Evolve Sneasel With a Razor Claw
After catching Sneasel and getting a Razor Claw, all players need to do is use the item on the Pokémon. It does not matter what level Sneasel is to evolve, all that matters is whether it is Hisuian or Johtonian Sneasel and what time of day players use the Razor Claw. Johtonian Sneasel can evolve to Weavile in Legends: Arceus if a Razor Claw is used on them at night, and Hisuian Sneasel evolves to Sneasler when a Razor Claw is used on it during the day.
