Primeape and Marowak Ex Will Deliver High Damage Attacks

This deck focuses on the strengths of two very specific cards, Marowak ex and Primeape. These both have a strong damage output and a quick set-up. For the best start to a battle, you will need to put the promo Mankey in the Active Spot. After using “Reckless Charge” for just one Fighting Energy, you will inflict 30 damage and do 10 damage to yourself. Though this initially seems like a bad idea, it becomes a strength when evolved into Primeape. From here, you can use “Fight Back”, which does 100 damage with the damage taken from the first attack.

While this is happening, you will be able to set up Marowak ex on the bench. This is an extremely strong card, being a good card to sap in for Primeape when the time is right. Marowak ex will use “Bonemerang”, which will give you the chance to flip two coins, with each heads doing 80 damage. This is the perfect card to draft in after Primeape has done significant damage beforehand.

The er Cards will Reduce the Risk That Comes With Using Mankey and Primeape

One of the other major cards in this deck is Sabrina. This er card will allow you to protect Mankey and Primeape, which both have a relatively low HP. This also will help you face a more preferable opposing Pokémon: one with less energy or attack damage. The worst thing that can happen to this deck is Mankey being one-shot by an opposing attack. With only 50 HP, this can happen easily if you are not vigilant in the early stages of the battle. Sabrina will counteract this worry, stopping the opponent from ruining your evolution build-up.

This will reduce Primeape’s Retreat Cost to zero, allowing you to quickly swap out the Pokémon for Marowak ex that is ready on the bench. The potion Item card also helps minimize the risk, healing 20 damage for Primeape, which will quickly sustain damage. This reduces the problem of the card having a low HP.
