There are several different avenues to go down when building a Grass-type deck in strong Genetic Apex Cards available since the game's release, with this deck utilizing two for players that favor aggressive strategies.
This particular deck has been designed to dominate the opposition with overwhelming force, combining raw power with a clear in-battle strategy. Many players have leaned toward the meta of using Mewtwo ex. However, those who look towards Grass-type Pokémon will be rewarded with an intensely consistent deck. Paired with carefully selected er cards, this deck can withstand the toughest opponents while maintaining momentum and control throughout the battle in TCG Pocket.

Best Cards For a Grass-type Deck In Pokémon TCG Pocket
Two Heavy-Hitting Cards Will Punish the Opponent
The key card in this deck is Venusaur ex, one of the game’s best tank Pokémon. To evolve into Venusaur ex, players must first play Bulbasaur and Ivysaur, both of which can hold their own while waiting for Venusaur ex to be drawn. Venusaur ex has a whopping 190 HP, making it a nearly unstopping force once in the Active Spot. It has two attacks, with “Giant Bloom” being a standout. This move requires four energy - two grass-type and two colorless- and deals 100 damage while also healing Venusaur ex for 30 HP, rewarding players for building energy.
In Pokémon TCG Pocket, decks tend to perform better with fewer Pokémon cards. A smaller number of Pokémon allows you to focus on key evolution lines and increases the likelihood of drawing the cards you need when you need them. Quality over quantity is important.
The other standout card in this deck is Exeggutor ex, which will hold down the Active Spot while Venusaur ex is being built up on the bench. As a Stage 1 Pokémon, Exeggutor ex evolves from Exeggcute, but evolution becomes a quick process with help from the Poké Ball card and Professor’s Research. Exeggutor ex’s “Tropical Swing” attack requires only one energy and deals 40 damage, with the chance to flip a coin for an extra 40 damage. Combined with Erika’s ability to heal 50 HP, Exeggutor ex becomes a force in quickly dishing out damage.

For Aggressive Players, this Deck will Dispatch Opponents Quickly
Players should use the Sabrina er card to disrupt the opponent and stop any high-damage Basic Pokémon, such as Pikachu ex and Articuno ex. This strategy helps protect the Exeggutor ex and Venusaur ex evolution lines from being easily knocked out at the start of the battle. Players may choose to replace the X-Speed card for a second Sabrina, but this is not necessary.

Pokémon TCG Pocket: All Secret Missions & How To Complete Them
Pokémon TCG Pocket offers several missions for players to complete, but what you may not know is there are also several hidden ones to unlock.
There are several different variations of this deck, but with the combination of two high-damage ex cards in TCG Pocket, this deck is the strongest Grass-type deck available. Players can swap the Exeggutor ex evolution line for a more conservative approach with the Lilligant one. This will instead Venusaur ex by providing it with additional energy. For those who prefer fast, aggressive playstyles, this deck offers a powerful route to victory in Pokémon TCG Pocket.
