One of Nicole Kidman's most popular movies from the 1990s is finally getting a sequel, and I still can't believe it took so long to happen.

Now, FlixPatrol reports that Practical Magic is Number 5 on Max's Top 10 movies list for April 30, 2025. This puts the fantasy cult classic right in the center of the streaming service's most popular movies right now. The film sits above Logan, Y2K, Land of the Lost, Fist Fight, and Life of the Party, while coming in below 2073, The ant, Brett Goldstein: The Second Best Night of Your Life, and the streamer's current Number 1 film - and another Kidman movie - Babygirl.

Although the movie came out in the late '90s, Kidman and Bullock's involvement in the fantasy film is clearly something modern audiences haven't forgotten about. Its popularity on streaming is also a good sign for the Practical Magic 2, which could see its own popularity bolstered thanks to the original's success on Max. While it's unclear if Practical Magic will maintain its spot in the Top 10 for a long time, it does signal interest in the film has only been growing.
