See All10 Best New Multiclass Builds In Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 8
I’ve been playing the Blade Singer in my latest game with a friend (one night a week for maybe 2-3 hours) so we aren’t even to Grymforge yet.
but I’m at a real loss when it comes to your “bladesinger/eldritch knight” combo.
You open by saying about the Bladesinger, “It gets all the spellcasting power of a wizard alongside a powerful martial boost ability that makes them proficient in the middle of a battlefield. However, the subclass falls off dramatically after level 5.”
i understand what you mean as the subclass doesn’t ramp up, but the rest of the class does… and when you say “all the power of a wizard” but then hamstring the wizard into multiclassing, I find that very poor advice.
You try to save face late by saying “you can lear 4th level spells thru scrolls” but your slots are less impressive.
another contradiction you made was saying the Eldritch Knight gives the player access to more weapons and armor… OK, but you can’t wear armor greater than medium while Bladesinging so now not only have you hamstrung the top end spellcasting of the wizard by multiclassing, but you’ve basically eliminated bladesinging from the character by wearing medium or heavy armor.
100% disagree and also, where do I sign up to get paid writing articles too?
