I'm extremely disappointed in the cancellation decision and I'd like to see Blue Bloods run at least one more season as is, but for some reason CBS is making another bad decision. Maybe one of the other streaming services will pick up the show which would be another good option and continue to run the show as is with the same cast. Regardless, I'm not ready for a spinoff with only part of the cast, it's too soon to leave others behind.

Finally, if they must do a spinoff then do it like Criminal Minds: Evolution. It's the same cast with a different name. Some of the character positions have pivoted but the show continues on with the same quality while allowing for change and growth.
