See All6 Fantasy Show Cancellations That Still Make No Sense
Bingewatched Travellers recently, and found it to be one of the best shows I have ever seen. It got rushed to an incomplete and bad ending, apparently after getting little notice it was being canceled. I've never seen a show so complicated, where every detail was important, every red-herring WASN'T one, and managed to just keep getting stranger and more convoluted- now THAT'S what I call television! Not sure how to classify it, probably straight sci-fi, but there were so many deep ideas and what-ifs there. Was a shame to see it fall apart and end so soon.
"I Grew Up With Keanu": Tom Cruise Praises Keanu Reeves & Reveals He Calls Him About Big Movies
That could be 10 levels of wrong... in a good way. Who do we root for? My first thought would be neither. Have a third act interloper like Reacher or Jason Borne- or better yet, Court Gentry finish them both off.
Mission:Wick. Hmmm, something to this, I feel a screenplay coming on.
I Can’t Believe The MCU Is Set To Introduce 2 Of Its Most Powerful Characters In The Same Year & Yet It’s Unlikely We’ll See Either Of Their Full Powers
Now, I'll it I'm not so familiar with Franklin, but it sounds like they could simply ask the newborn to send a future version of himself for a chat, and then have older him simply wipe Doom from existence and clean up the mess. Isn't he pretty much on that level, even as a child?
Sure, I get that turns Doomsday into DoomSlay, and cuts the runtime from 2+ hours down to 22 minute sitcom range....if they stretch it, lol.... but isn't that the power level we are talking about here? We will have met 4 invincible, unbeatable characters by the end of the year.
Okay, they got clever with Thanos, but he didn't really flex THAT hard, and they groundhog-day'd him. Yeah, sure- with the gauntlet, he'd have beaten all the heroes in his sleep... but they had to sell a movie, so okay.
They currently list Scarlet Witch as 'dead', but that doesn't the sniff test either. I don't know if we get yet another redemption arc, but I like Olsen in the role, would watch more- but where do they go?
So then add in Franklin and Bob? How do you audiences to relate to 4 characters who can change reality on a whim? They did a reasonably good job with Thanos, and Wanda has some history with us before she peaks.
People are going to cry foul if they Nerf these guys to severely, but at their comic-accurate power levels, I just can't see where they go? I can see a movie where we see a Franklin and Wanda sitting in chairs facing each other, each warping reality for a few hours. Might be fun, but it doesn't seem to propel the story forward.
10 Marvel Movies That Could Fill The MCU’s 2028 Release Dates After The Avengers: Doomsday & Secret Wars Delays
Maybe, but it really depends on Doomsday and Secret War's reception. If they're hugely successful, and set up a natural story going forward, it might fly. If not so much, forcing more Anthony Mackie down our throats might backfire. Personally, I like the guy, but I thought he was better as a sidekick. I know it's comics-accurate, but I have a hard time accepting him as Captain America. I simply liked Evans in the role more, and would have watched him in 10 more movies..... but I get that reality gets in the way.
But, they have to either supercharge him or the mantle on fairly soon. This Cap, with no super-serum, simply can't keep up, once we add the 4, some X mutants, and others on the way. Honestly, I kinda think he'd make an impactful sacrifice, which might pave the way for a multiversal replacement.....
Jared Padalecki's Favorite Supernatural Episode Is One Of The Greatest Hours Of Television I've Ever Seen
409230 Hands down my favorite episode. Seeing their reaction when they see Ruby, now Jared's wife, is priceless. The huge murals of Genevieve and Jared on the walls is hysterical, and seeing them make fun of Jensen's time on soap operas felt almost too real. And Misha being himself. And. And. Just a riot, especially the more you have watched, and get the in jokes. Sure, I love Mystery Spot, and the school play episode is a very unique episode as well, but Mistake is epic, and maybe one of my favorite hours of TV ever.
PS- if you liked the 'groundhog day' vibe of Mystery Spot, watch Travellers. It's a great show anyways, easily better than most sci-fi in the last 20 years, but late in the second season, there's an episode with their take on a bad time loop. It's not really played for laughs, but in the context of GHD and Mystery Spot, I couldn't stop laughing. Oh, it's horrific, and gory as all hell, but.... just watch it.
"He's Like A Crooner That Knows How To Carve Up A Monologue": Tom Cruise Reflects On Filming Jack Nicholson's Famous Courtroom Speech In A Few Good Men
An all-around great movie, and one of the best courtroom scenes in cinema. It's so much more than the sum of it's parts, and I believe it is at least partly based on a true story.
