While my interest in the Wheel of Time series spawned from the TV series, as usual the books were far superior to the show.

I have mixed feelings as the show was OK, but I feel Brandon Sanderson knew more than you think as pointed out, Robert Jordan's family choose him to finish the Wheel of Time series of books with notes and writing that Robert Jordan completed. He did an excellent job completing the series as I couldn't truly tell the difference between the two writing styles.

Since completing the Wheel of Time series, I have enjoyed Brandon Sanderson's own writing with the Storm Light archive and part of the Mistborn series. It would be great to see these come to film, but I agree he should be listened to if they want the privilege of taking his book series to film.
