See AllDoctor Who: The Doctor's Last Words to His Granddaughter Explain Why He's So Obsessed with Finding Her
This is written like the Doctor is a person that consciously (and mysteriously) doesn't return for Susan all this time. How about the writers had no interest until recently, and even if they had been interested years ago, that doesn't mean Ford was it was available at that time.
Unlike companions nowadays, in the classic era, when companions left they were typically gone (with some exceptions, like Sara Jane).
All this talk about Susan and her plight with the Time War, what about Romana, who was last seen in e-space? Shouldn't she be likely alive??
After Doctor Who Season 15's Big Cameo, I'm Worried A Landmark Timeless Child Reveal Happened Offscreen
Yeah, nobody is a fan of the Timeless Child storyline.
Honestly, I love Jo Martin's Doctor and wish they would have just used her instead of Ncuti. Her clothes are sharp too.
I don't like the Doctor crying all the time. I don't like that he switches clothes in every episode. I didn't like that he seems like a soft, confused child most of the time until he flips into some harda$$ usually at the strangest points in the story. He just doesn't seem "alien" enough. Just a confused, hyperactive, weak human most of the time. But I digress.
To answer this long article that tries to read into the minds' of the writers, they/he probably merely forgot. They had an opportunity to use Jo Martin's character in a unique way (since this story had elements of race written in), so they did. Simple.

"It Took Him A Lot Of Guts": Squid Game Season 2's Thanos Casting Backlash Addressed By Creator
It's to read this criticism. Everyone I talk to about the season says that Thanos is one of their favorite characters. My kids run around quoting his English lines. People at work do the same thing. "Welcome to Thanos world!"
He was just quirky enough to be both entertaining and real. Hope he knows that despite the complaints in Korea, he's appreciated elsewhere in the world!
Doctor Who Basically its 2024's Christmas Episode Is Based On A 1970s Children's TV Show
Just, please, stop crying about everything, Doctor.
