Tolkien wrote that the two “blue” wizards went East. Could the stranger and the dark wizard be said wizards? The show has seemed to imply that the Stranger will be Gandalf, and commercially that seems like the smart move for them to make, but I for one think it would actually be a little more interesting If the stranger and the dark wizard were the two blue wizards. It would also be slightly more aligned with canon.
