It is *horrifying* that a director, someone who is supposed to be a story teller, believes that people wouldn't be able to connect to the story deeply if it's too fictional. That says such awful things about society's current ability to think critically, empathize, be kind to people different from you..... Do you agree with this director? Are we as a society so doomed that we are now unable to connect with characters who seem too far from "real"?
