I'm sorry, but if Guy Ritchie had *anything* to do with this project, it wasn't more than coming up with the name. None of his typical hallmarks are there, most noticeably well written dialogue and a good plot. The characters are flat and boring, the writing is overly simplistic and it's a slog to get through. I've kept watching hoping for it to turn the proverbial corner, but at this point that obviously isn't going to happen.

Never needed a break from Sanderson's books until "Wind & Truth". I put it down about 1/3 of the way through about a month ago, and haven't picked it back up. BS has always woven characters who have traits or struggles related to our society today, and prior to "W&T", he's always done it extremely well to the point that I held him up as an example of how to address those issues without beating everyone over the head with them. Unfortunately, he hired a TEAM of "sensitivity editors" for this book...and now the character are all, well, characatures of themselves. Highly disappointing.
