After 16 Years, X-Men Officially Resurrects a Beyond-Powerful Hero
Ummm. You do know about Hickman's new event series Imperial, right?
Hellboy: The Crooked Man Review - I Can’t Believe How Little I Cared About Hellboy In His Own Movie
Much better than the Harbour movie. That was a travesty. You want to talk about aimlessly jumping from scene to scene and bad writing? I think you're reviewing the wrong one. This one was shockingly good. Really captured the Southern Gothic dread, mixing elements of Craven, Romero and Raimi.
With Diamond Distributor's Facing Bankruptcy, the Comics Industry Is Facing a Reckoning
Diamond saved the industry during the pandemic by halting the process that was going to bankrupt stores who could not move the product that was relentlessly shipping. Warner Bros and Disney own DC and Marvel and did not like that. So they first tried to go around Diamond and sell direct. When this failed, DC handed the reigns to two online front companies for large online retailers. One of those collapsed immediately. Now more and more people have turned on Diamond as they are struggling to pay back publishers because they expended so much monet to keep the chains of stores alive that sell the products. It's been an adversarial, exploitative relationship for years as publishers try to squeeze every last penny out of the movies boom which is now dying. It's an industry that has a history of eating itself. The last time this happened, Diamond ended up as a monopoly by default because Marvel mismanaged their self distribution plan and forced a cascade effect that nearly ended the industry fir good.
After All These Years, Marvel's Most Controversial Comic Still Crosses the Line
Wildly slanted version of the story.
A Netflix Comedy Series Just Achieved A Rare Rotten Tomatoes Feat With Its Second Season
Meh. Watched the first season. Thought Mo himself was not very good, but put together a stellar ing cast. Nice to see a show with a kind eye on the persecution of Palestinians.
Sorry, Marvel. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Are Set to Rule 2025 With a Groundbreaking Comic
The sales for the TMNT reboot dropped off pretty quickly. It's kind of boring. Is this a paid ment? Seems odd. Beneath The Trees was pretty great, but the sales were never massive. Online speculators drove up the price of issue one, but that was about it.
Marvel Keeps Bringing Back One MCU Actress... Even Though Her TV Show Was Canceled Before A Single Episode Aired

Inventive Horror Movie With 78% On Rotten Tomatoes That Stephen King Endorses Is Now Streaming
Massively overrated. Incredibly boring. Should have been a 40 minute anthology segment.
Stephen King-Defended 2024 Horror Movie Becomes Streaming Success
Blumhouse has quickly gone down the tubed. Or more accurately, people have realized what kind of pumped out, lackluster releases they usually made all along.
The Crow 2024's Debut Audience Score RT Triples Critic Score (& Breaks Franchise Trend)
Don't think this is going to hold. All the audience reviews I see online are terrible. It'll catch up.
A24's New Horror Movie Is A Bigger Risk After $11.5 Million Box Office Flop
Loved Beau. But this movie sounds terrible. From the outdated, rehash plot to the terrible cast. Looks like a skip.
2024 Horror Prequel Becomes Streaming Hit After Disappointing $53M Box Office
The cast is excellent and the cinematography and directing are solid. Scriptwise, the movie has no identity. It exists on homage and ripoffs of other films, changing the historical canon as if it's a reboot, while insisting on being a direct prequel to the original. Kind of a mess in that regard. But it's better IP management than Blumhouse. The critic score is definitely too high.
