I thought the movie was great. The back story has to be told or the movie wouldn't make any sense. In the process of placing the character in the environment you have to give the film's audience a main character back story, especially when you are placing the character in the world of John Wick. While at points the storyline was slow due to the back story, I wasn't bored. I like to know who the character is and how they pertain to the world of John Wick. It is definitely not John Wick, but a very watch worthy movie, in my opinion.
