It can definitely be argued. High n dry not as commercial as Adrenalize but has the original signature sound. I think the writer got the top 4 albums correct though.

adrenalize gets alot of flak from critics and some fans but how do you follow up hysteria? I mean come on, it’s a damn good effort considering what they were going through at the time. Some of my favorite Leppard songs are on that album.

I loved it, both the book and the movie. I think Carpenter did a great job possessing the car instead of the ghost of LeBay in the book for running times sake. I thought the score was eerie, the young cast was fantastic, especially Keith Gordon and the effects were incredible for its time. It might not rank up there with Halloween, The Thing, or the Fog but it’s at the top of his second tier and even then, that is saying something.

I am so tired of hearing about challengers that movie has no business being on this list. The movie wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t good either. To rank it a top ten sports movie is a joke. In 5 years nobody will be talking about it and it will slip into obscurity.

Sequal you don’t remake the same movie like so many dopes over the years have done. I give Tobe Hopper all of the credit in the world for having the stones to try something not only offbeat but brilliant with tcm2. Taking the black comedy to an entirely different level, the writing and characters are totally memorable and batsh!t. I don’t think you will find a sequal that offers as much as tcm2 does.
