A couple of corrections to the article; the plan was to only strand Gary Mitchell on Delta Vega as Dr. Elizabeth Dehner's psychic abilities did not manifest until Mitchell' escape on the planet. Likewise, the "exotic vegetation", the Antarian apples", were not indigenous to the planet, but rather a creation of Mitchell's, willed into reality.

I recall an interview with Moore, where he stated emphatically that the characters were, indeed, speaking English. This is the cyclical nature of the story. Sounds too fantasical? Well, how do you explain "All Along the Watchtower" or a battlestar, from the pilot, named Columbia?
