But from what I understand our Earth's gravity is lower, our Yellow Sun gifts Kryptonians the power they possess lie dormant in their body. The Red Sun is cooler and doesn't emit radiation that powers them; hence they lose their powers. Which doesn't make sense to a scientific perspective.
