Um, disagree. Elementary is a good show, yes. However, they did explain Sherlock's fake death in Sherlock. Did you miss that episode? There was a whole flashback of how he did it. tLDR: both are good shows. Don't compare them. Watch both and appreciate them for what they are.

People are obviously getting dumber then. I'll watch smart TV shows thank you very much. Not lame ass reality TV shows. Ever heard of Luther? IT Crowd? Old school Doctor Who? Peaky Blinders? Gintama? Normal people watch stupid stuff nowadays, and that's fine and all, but I prefer the hardcore fans that watch something that has meaning. Soul. Emotion. Stuff that makes you feel. Not shows that pander to the lowest common denominator. Pssh.

I'm the opposite. I loved RTD's stories and found some of Moffat's stories repetitive. But I still love every single second of it. I'm a die hard doctor who fan; always have, always will. I have every season on Blu-ray and DVD, countless trinkets, and clothes. I don't pick at small things and act like some annoying critic; I just enjoy DW as it is: adventure, sci-fi, emotion, and laughter all in one. There's a ton of DW eps that have made me cry, laugh, and have joy all-in-one. And for that, I love DW, and I always will. Period.
