Helen Mirren is outstanding as the terrifying Irish Witch. Her interpretation and nuanced expression of Irish phrasing in her speech was far better than Pierce Brosnan who is Irish. She is a consummate actress who has studied her craft so well that I no longer think of her as Helen Mirren Mirren but as Maeve Harrigan
