Space Godzilla is honestly a pretty boring villain. But a balls to the wall rewrite for the character might make him more interesting.

I hope the Monsterverse doesn't mess with Hedorah. I am thinking Yamazaki (based on his own comments/postings) has plans for him in the Minus One sequel. 🤞

Doesn't necessarily have to be a direct sequel, but please keep this excellent G design and stay in this original continuity. Maybe push the follow-up forward a couple of decades and focus on Akiko as the main human of the story? Early 1960's make perfect place to have Hedorah show up, as the result of Japan's escalating pollution crisis of that era.

Big disagree with Anguirus on this list. He is perhaps the most logical pick for Minus One's follow up. 1) He's one of the most dinosaur-like kaiju in Toho's roster, being basically a big ankylosauus, so no goofy, convoluted flimflam needed to explain him, at least no more than Godzilla himself. 2) He was the big bad in the first OG sequel, so being in the next entry in this reboot timeline would follow tradition. 3) He's been both an enemy & ally at various points throughout the series, and he could easily be BOTH in this next film - especially if Hedorah is used as the main villain, as the director has suggested. 4) There is plenty of fanart out there showing just how cool and intimidating Anguius can look, and no doubt Yakasaki & crew would make him look glorious, were he selected to appear in the Minus One sequel.
