See AllWas The Witcher 4's tech demo cinematic impressive?
I thought The Witcher 4's tech demo, which has just been released today and is available to watch on IGN's YouTube channel, looked pretty good. I'm always a little hesitant when it comes to cinematic reveals of games, especially as it's staged and doesn't really represent actual gameplay. However, at least we know that the game's cinematic scenes will look great. The Witcher 3 is a classic title and a personal favorite of mine, and considering the success of the Netflix show, it's about time we got another game in The Witcher series.
Was The Leftovers season 1 too dark?
Damon Lindelof, co-creator of The Leftovers, recently acknowledged that season 1 of the show perhaps wasn't as accessible as it could be for viewers. The first season is rather dark and gorey, so I can understand why some find it a challenging watch. He referenced the season 1 episode "Gladys," which is a particular favorite of mine, particularly when Gladys is stoned to death. It's definitely gripping, but yes, a bit too much at times. However, I think it suits the tone of the show well, and there are plenty of other shows that go way darker, in my opinion.
What is your favorite moment from Jonathan Joss' Ken Hotate in Parks and Recreation?
I was gutted to learn this morning that Jonathan Joss, who played Ken Hotate in Parks and Recreation and voiced John Redcorn in King of the Hill, has ed away. I loved Joss as Hotate in Parks and Recreation, and he was truly a brilliant addition to the cast and an underrated ing character. My favorite moment of his was when Hotate accused Ann of being racist when she offered him water, and he asked, "Like firewater?" The little smile he offered before explaining he was messing with her was stellar.
What was Ncuti Gatwa's best moment as the Fifteenth Doctor in Doctor Who?
I'm very sad that Ncuti Gatwa has left Doctor Who as the Fifteenth Doctor. I thought they were stellar and was hoping for more time. I loved it when he'd call villains babes, and his sense of humor was brilliant, but the one moment that sticks in my mind was when the Doctor cried at the end of "Dot and Bubble." That was actually the first scene Ncuti shot as the Doctor, I believe, which makes this moment even more impactful.
Which ambiguous TV show ending really needs some clarification?
Sometimes, an ambiguous ending to a TV show can be a good or bad thing. Sometimes it's good when a show wraps up without a definitive answer, but it can also be incredibly annoying. Regardless, there are some that we all want answers to. For me, it's Tony's fate in The Sopranos. The screen cuts to blank, and even though it's implied he was killed, it's also just as possible that he wasn't and it was suicide or just an injury.
Has anyone who received their Nintendo Switch 2 early been unable to use the system?
I've seen reports online that some people have received their Nintendo Switch 2 early, but are unable to use the console until June 5. I totally understand these people's frustrations. It's not their fault that they were sent their Nintendo Switch 2 early, but if they've paid for the device, they absolutely deserve to be able to use it. It's a shame that Nintendo has this much control, especially as it makes it feel like players don't really own the console because of this.

See AllWhat is Supernatural's funniest episode?
I absolutely agree with you on "The French Mistake." I love it when a show acknowledges its reputation canonically, and I think it's hysterical to see Sam interacting with Genevive Padalecki. I also love "Changing Channels," and Dean's reaction to being on a game show is forever etched into my mind. To be honest, any of Supernatural's meta or fourth-wall breaking episodes result in some sort of hilarity.
What is the most disturbing part of Bring Her Back?
I don't have children yet, but I can absolutely understand why this film would be any parent's worst nightmare. For me, it's when Andy begs Laura not to let Piper leave. There's something so unsettling about this moment, other than the obvious. That poor child knows something isn't right and can't put his finger on it, and seeing a responsible adult ignore his pleas, let alone fail to try to reassure him, is horrifying.
Is Sabrina Carpenter right for a new Mamma Mia movie?
I think the more important question is who would she play? Lily James does a great job as a young Donna, but if she wasn't available and Sabrina Carpenter took over, it may work. She can't really play a young Sophie, seeing as she is only 20 in the first film. I have no issue with her being in a new Mamma Mia movie, but I can't see her playing any of the already established characters.
Is John Krasinski's Fountain Of Youth worth streaming on Apple TV+?
I'm really glad you said this, because I was starting to think I was the only one. When I saw the trailer, I said that it looked cool, but it was essentially Tomb Raider meets Indiana Jones, and while there's nothing wrong with that, it didn't seem to offer anything new or different. I hoped that when I watched it, I'd feel different, but unfortunately not. In fact, I gave up about halfway through as I lost interest. I love both Krasinski and Portman, but I can't understand what drove this to be commissioned except for them.
I can't believe EA scrapped the Black Panther game after all these years.
It's disappointing, but unfortunately, not surprising. This kind of thing is happening a lot in the gaming industry at the moment, from the indie companies to the AAA's. I think one big problem is that there is such a focus on marketing over actually making the game work, and those who are actually creating it are forced to meet ridiculous expectations, and so everyone suffers in the long run. I love how ambitious games are getting, but there are also a lot of people who don't understand the reality of creating them, and then wonder why they're having to cancel so many titles. Of course, we can't know this was the cause exactly, but I wouldn't be surprised.
What is your favorite video game ending?
There are several endings in Detroit: Become Human, but my favorite (and one of my favorites from games in general) is Kara and Alice making it through the Canadian border. Their incredible relationship made the revelation that Alice was actually an android even more impactful for me, and I'm always incredibly overjoyed when they get their happy ending together.
