She forgave Serena for herself. Not for SJ. You must have never been in that position. Forgiveness isn't about the other person. It's for you. Also, if she warned Nick, Boston would have never fallen. Nothing heartbreaking about that. He got what he deserved. He was always self-serving and after the Jezebels slaughter, it fully proved who he w as. If she warned Nick, Lawrence would've died by the hands of Gilead for nothing. Nope. He got what was coming to him. Just because he did a few good deeds doesn't make him a good person. He did all that to serve himself because he wanted June. Thats all. June cant have a committed relationship right now. She's got too much to focus on. June and Luke are over for a few reasons. IRL... many relationships fail after the loss of a child in any capacity. They both have different causes now. They fell out of love. Did you really think Nick blew up and put himself back together like the T1000?

Not every show needs a full happy ending. Janine got Charlotte back. The Boston Handmaids are free and now Boston isnt part of Gilead anymore. Serena Joy is finding redemption and she's experienced humility. What else could you possibly want? June was never gonna get Hannah back. Hannah is a main character in The Testaments. Gilead was never gonna completly fall, or there wouldn't be another book.
