I think it's more sinister and dark than a pregnancy per se (and all the complications that go with a pregnancy). However, we know that Gemma is central to the work at Lumon. I think they are using Mark for his sperm as a way to clone him and/or his offspring with Helena and/or Gemma' and/or their clones. This has something to do with cloning.
