I Wish FF7 Remake Part 3 Wouldn’t Worry About Advent Children
Nothing more I can personally add beyond reiterating that I had nothing to do with it. I never saw the comment in question, so I can't speak to any issue or lack thereof. Regardless, sorry for any trouble!
I Wish FF7 Remake Part 3 Wouldn’t Worry About Advent Children
If a comment was deleted, it may have been flagged by a system - I had nothing to do with it. All opinions (respectfully offered) are welcome!
I Wish FF7 Remake Part 3 Wouldn’t Worry About Advent Children
I'm not new to Final Fantasy as a whole! I am indeed primarily new to Compilation of FF7, however.
It's pretty clear that the team already has a plan in mind for how things will connect, so I'm not trying to dictate anything here, just expressing my own lack of interest in that particular link. I have some friends who grew up with FF7 who agree with me, and there are obviously plenty of people with a differing perspective. If it's done in a way that makes the Advent Children fans happy, I'll still be happy for them.
D&D's 2024 Dungeon Master's Guide Fixes One Tiny Thing That Annoyed Chris Perkins For A Decade
Not to your preference, it's officially a "Strength (Athletics) check," but it should at least now be a universal ruling.
D&D's 2024 Dungeon Master's Guide Might Not Be The Best New Product For DMs
Sorry for any confusion. The title is meant to suggest that Adventure Arcs, the focus of the article, could be an even better resource for certain DMs than the new Dungeon Master's Guide. I quite like both, at least in theory.
D&D's 2024 Dungeon Master's Guide Fixes My Least Favorite Thing About The Player's Handbook
You're right, mea culpa. I was thinking about the rushed internal turnarounds and forgot that the publication dates still had some solid gaps.
Should You Go Through The Mountain Or The Underdark In BG3?
I absolutely recommend both, although I do side with C. in preferring the Underdark first. Regardless, doing both in either order's definitely better than skipping either, and there's a strong argument for your approach as well.
Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom's Hardest Challenge Isn't Even Worth The Trouble
That one didn't actually trip me up too much, but Blank Slate Battle: Wind did.
FF7 Remake Part 3 Will Be Way Better If It Cuts One Of Rebirth's Core Features
They are, which I do appreciate. My larger issue is more that the open-zone content follows the standardized structure associated with Ubisoft towers, and I think moving away from them entirely would help push the design in a stronger direction.
Echoes Of Wisdom Is The Perfect Payoff To A Controversial 37-Year-Old Zelda Feature
Big respect for that callout, you're 100% right. It's a meaningful part of that evolution despite its limited implementation, so mea culpa for leaving it out here.
FF7 Rebirth Might Be Dethroned As My Favorite Video Game Remake This Year
Quite serious, sorry to say. I'd easily put the original FF7 over any incarnation of Epic Mickey, though, I just tend to have a lot more fun with remakes that aren't straining to recapture the pure magic of a truly great game.
Rocksteady's Rumored New Batman Game Definitely Won't Be The Game I Want
The 3S is tempting - if I hadn't bought a Quest 2 last year I'd definitely go for it.
D&D: One 2024 Player’s Handbook Change Has Already Made Me Stop Using The 2014 Edition
I'm also ultimately underwhelmed with the ranger, and I find the gap between the PHB and the Monster Manual especially awkward, because it's so hard to tell *what* the balance is without knowing what the enemies look like now. It definitely feels like there's a timing component here, with both Baldur's Gate 3, as you mentioned, and the 50th Anniversary serving to put an emphasis on getting the books out. The staggered release is supposed to help the DMG in particular get more individual love than it did last time, but with the PHB, it would have been nice to get another round of community in before finalizing some of the classes. I do quite like some though!
Appreciate the thoughtful comment.
D&D: One 2024 Player’s Handbook Change Has Already Made Me Stop Using The 2014 Edition
Don't mean to imply that at all, just that the rules glossary is the biggest reason I'm keeping it next to me during play. Deciding on whether it's worth the purchase in general is a different question, and evaluating the value of the DMG and Monster Manual that aren't out yet is a whole nother ball game.
D&D: One 2024 Player’s Handbook Change Has Already Made Me Stop Using The 2014 Edition
Definitely not something that should be happening every session. I'm leaning on it more than usual right now for the sake of seeing where things have changed, but a lot of what I like is just the comfort of knowing that, should something come up, it's easier to resolve it in a matter of seconds now.
Black Myth: Wukong's Great Bosses Highlight The Game's Biggest Problem
Totally fair! I think some discoveries and secret areas feel rewarding, but in of the moment-to-moment gameplay and design in the levels, I just don't see it as something that rivals some of its competitors. I loved the Yaogaui Kings throughout, though, and I definitely agree that the boss difficulty consistently made me want to master the game rather than turning me off from it.
How Hard Is Black Myth: Wukong? Difficulty Explained
I've tweaked the article slightly to more clearly reflect the increase in difficulty compared to the average action game. Hope you're able to get a refund if you haven't played too much yet!
The Best Game Of The Year Has Already Lost 2024's GOTY Award (& That's Not Fair)
Lots of strong options out of Japan this year! Very much looking forward to Metaphor.
One Underrated Baldur's Gate 3 Companion May Be The Most Likely Canon Protagonist
Definitely a valid pick! Shadowheart's my personal favorite character.
