Agreed. Like someone else in the comments section said, "Is Disney writing the comics now??"
After 86 Years, X-Men Finally Gives Marvel a Hero Stronger Than Superman
It appears so. I haven't read any of my comics for the last 6 months or more; just collecting. I'm afraid to, now, after this article, and actually reading one of my comics, on a lark, Dazzler #1. Book is written by a male, either a feminist, or gey.
After 86 Years, X-Men Finally Gives Marvel a Hero Stronger Than Superman
So now they're making a female STRONGER than ANY male she comes across?? I better not read my comics; I might be disappointed to Marvel's comic book direction.
The sad thing is (almost like Marvel is TRYING to destroy comics, as a whole), a friend of mine of 40+ years, who owns a comic shop, tells me that the males coming in to pull, STILL OUTRANK the females, by about an 8/2 or 9/1 margin.
So WHO are you pandering to, Marvel?? You're about to lose your long-time base of fans, to a VERY MINOR female fan base, and soy-boy "beta" males. No, this is NOT Nerdrotic speaking; these are MY views, and have been, for a long time!! 😠
Dafne Keen Addresses X-23's MCU Future After Deadpool & Wolverine Fans Demand Her Return
I believe Lord Feige has already gone on record that after Downey Doom and Secret Wars, the next "saga", will be the "Mutant Saga" or "Mutant Age" (I can't exactly what he called it), and, with Dafne the perfect age to grow into the character; the perfect age to fit in with the likes of Iman Vellani (Ms. Marvel), Hailee Steinfeld (Kate Bishop/Hawkeye), Xochitl Gomez (America Chavez), and Kathryn Newton (Stature), to name a few, for the Young Avengers team; and the fact that X-23, is now the new Wolverine, in the comics; and finally the fact that she's so beloved, by the fans, due to her scene-stealing performance, in Logan, it only makes sense to utilize her, just like Hugh, for MANY movies. She COULD, and maybe SHOULD, get her OWN trilogy, not to mention these other team-up-type movies. That'll keep the Mutant Saga going, for awhile.
