I think only looking at whether any race could portray the character is harmful. It is the double standards in representation and casting decisions that we speak of. It's essential to acknowledge that representation matters, and casting choices can have a significant impact on how communities are portrayed and perceived.

It's Representation Hypocrisy. It's a concern that when a character's race or ethnicity is changed from white to a person of color, it's often met with silence or even praise, while the opposite change (from a person of color to white) would be widely criticized. Astrid was white in the film, she should've stayed white in the live action.
