No Ahsoka is not important for starwars, overly exaggerated and one of the mistakes of Lucas.there is no trace about Ahsoka in prequels. Ahsoka designed for clone wars which was solely different than prequels. She isone of irritated character in clone wars tv show. I liked clone wars but Ahsoka didn't bring story anywhere...
