However true your comment is, the people running Disney Marvel don't care about the past or established lore. They have r@p€d the corpse of marvel thinking it's a good thing. It's kinda like calling Rey Palatine by a different name while huffing their own farts.

I honestly believe there wasn't a plan and the people near the top just said what they had heard at meetings years before, not understanding that 616 was the [main] comic book universe and claimed it as their own. With Kevin Feige over both the books and movies he can say whatever he wants.

It is impossible to compare the origins of so many characters differently in the books and movies yet say it's the same universe.

The books are 616 while the MCU is not despite the studio applying the same name to it.
