I don't think there is a question of whether Timothy Olyphant can play this character. In my opinion, and that of many people I know, he can play ANY character ever written. He has more talent in his little finger than a lot of people can claim and can communicate more with his eyes than any actor I've ever seen in my life (and I'm 78 - I've seen a lot of actors). I will watch him in anything, whether I like the subject or not, because I enjoy watching him work so much. I only wish I could talk to him about his approach to the process of acting itself. It must be fascinating for him to be so brilliant at it.
