Agree on what Andor brought to épisodes 4, 5 and 6 but considering they still haven't tied how the new republic turned into the resistance, it's 30 years later, I disagree that it's "never more clearly than" in the sequels.

It is never more clearly seen than during the actual rebellion, which had a conclusion into the new republic... not the resistance. Whatever Disney did to puke up story wise is literally now just a battle of better series trying to make sense of it and connect dots.
