It would be good news if Lewis' writing and intentions were honored. It appears, however, that a woman may be giving Aslan his (!) voice. Aslan is the Narnian personification of Jesus, and making him into a female seems to be purposely offensive. Even ignoring the religious aspects, Netflicks is being financially foolish, by offending a built-in audience.
