Seeing a Bar Fight in Daima for the first time ever in Dragon Ball History just goes to show you that the legendary Toriyama Sensei's final vision is just getting started. Going back to their Saiyan heritage wouldn't be an advantage at all because God powers sur those of Saiyan powers. SSJ4 would be interesting to make canon but super Saiyan blue is stronger than SSJ4 which means that it would be more of a down grade than an upgrade. The only way I believe that Saiyan transformations could be able to sur God powers is that they get doubled by God powers themselves just like how Goku uses the Kaioken to give him a boost, Which means Saiyan transformations such as SSJ4 would only prove to be sufficient if it got a boost from a God powers. So something like "SSJ 4 UI" would do the trick.
