Monk Doesn't Need A Revival (This Is How Tony Shalhoub's Adrian Should Return Instead)
Articles generally boil down to opinions, thus also, but to me the whole premise of it seems so utterly logical that my first reaction amounted to 'duhh'.
Everything we know seems to point towards a series of (TV) movies to be the way to go.
The current TV culture, the results of the movie and other similar movies and the lower risk involved.
Besides Shaloub isn't the youngest anymore.
Every Star Trek Movie & TV Prequel, Ranked Worst To Best
Discovery season 1 and 2 are a bit odd, at least for me.
When I started watching it, it confused me, because some things absolutely made no sense.
I am not talking about the modern look, changes, that is part of ST from the moment TNG got made and let's not forget the TOS movies!
No , some parts of the plot where odd. I still kept watching, because it is Star Trek...but I can absolutely see some people giving up.
I am glad I did, because as it turns out the weirdness became logical when the plotlines got together.
It started making sense.
I think the series suffered from the choice to make the overarching storyline all mysterious ..and from the cultural changes making the usual ST progressive tendencies problematic to some.
As such I think the ranking is logical, but in the end I enjoyed the show more than any Kelvin movie.
Assassin's Creed Fans Are In Luck As Insider Claims Another AC Game Will Release In 2025
Should AC include multiplayer content?
Short answer: no.
Long answer: HELL NO!
Doesn't fit, doesn't work well and it hurts the long term replay value.
Were There Really Female US Marshals In 1923?
I don't see it ..
The dig, I mean. To me TV creators 'taking liberties' with history is logical and common place and one reason to do so is mentioned
So..what..??
Shifting Gears Episode 9 Addresses The Problem With Tim Allen's Home Improvement Past (But Can The Show Fix It?)
There we go, if it works, it works...and it works!
There Aren't Many 10/10 Disaster Movies, But I Think These 6 Are Perfect
While I don't totally agree, this list does make a lot of sense!
There Aren't Many 10/10 Disaster Movies, But I Think These 6 Are Perfect
Actually, the remake is quite good also. Not a true classic like the original, but wel worth watching.
Tim Allen's Shifting Gears Pulls In Huge Audience For ABC, Rivaling Fellow Freshman Breakout High Potential Despite Mixed Reviews
It is Tim Allen!
He generally plays a grumpy, but loving , way too conservative, dad...but does so in shows that do send a quite balanced message.
Besides.. with all his apparent, real and portrayed faults, I like the guy and clearly so do many others!
10 Canceled Sequels & Remakes We're Glad Never Happened
Did the article and title get edited to say, as it now does sequels AND remakes... or are dozens of people unable to read at a sufficient level?
10 TV Shows That Never Had A Bad Season
GOT......
THE example of an awesome series ruined by the last season.
Not just ruined, but absolutely destroyed.
Daenerys was GOT. While this did not mean she had to 'win', the way she didn't, with her whole character changed beyond recognition without a decent logical buildup, reasoning...is unforgivable.
10 TV Shows That Never Had A Bad Season
Nop...
I don't care for Seinfeld, so I have no idea about this, but I am a huge Star Trek fan and TOS definetly had it's stronger and weaker periods.
The most consistently good series was DS9, but it definitely is not perfect either.
Shifting Gears Episode 3 Pokes Fun At Tim Allen's Troubled Disney Role With A Brilliant Joke
Allen's political views often aren't mine and he is a bit of a caveman at times.
That being said, I assume Allen has had a lot of input on the message his shows send. That message often clearly was that he was wrong, or it was rather balanced about things. Showing shades of grey, showing, mainly trough other roles like wives, kids, neighbors, etc. that life isn't black and white.
That to me seems to indicate Allen isn't closed minded or very dogmatic.
It is a bit like the sometimes overly liberal Good Wife and it's successor, which did not pull it's punches in showing the faults of liberal characters and politics either.
I for one appreciate this.
5 Reasons Tim Allen's Shifting Gears Reviews Are So Bad
I think Allen's conservative political leanings combined with today's overly partisan cultural climate also plays a role.
I think this is a pity.
Give this promising show a chance and the time to developed it's voice!
Looking at HI and LMS it might pleasantly suprise us.
Sarah Michelle Gellar Just Made Buffy The Vampire Slayer’s Shared Universe Theory More Complicated With New Horror Franchise Role
What a bunch of hoopla....
10 Heroes Reinvented As Villains In A Different Movie
To me Phelps betrayal was the movies betraying the original series .
No way could the real Jim Phelps turn in to a villain the way he did in the movies.
It put a huge stain on them for me and ruined much of the potential enjoyment.
Scrappy Doo's turn was a tad annoying also, but less serious.
The whole concept of Wicked is extremely clever.
"That Damn Piece Of Junk" The Director Of John Wayne's Final Rio Bravo Movie Blamed The Movie's Failure On Its Cast
Reading Mr Hawks comments alone it seems clear enough who the real problem was in regards thus movie.
It is the guy who squawks about everyone but himself..
Star Trek 4's Long Delay Is A Direct Result Of J.J. Abrams' Biggest 2009 Reboot Change
Absolutely not! Star Trek's TV outings have generally been great.
Yes, they had some problems, but pushing the envelope, being 'woke', diverse casting and such is pure Star Trek. It absolutely fits with the core of the franchise.
Sadly not so much with the current times..
Even the problems, I tend to dislike the Klingon redesign and some other choices ...are normal, not just for ST, but for serialised TV.
I do understand how many had problems with Discovery's first season, it seemed off, wrong, at first...only for the conclusion to show it did make sense! But if you stopped being interested before getting there...
