See AllFire Country's Stephanie Arcila Is Absolutely Right: Season 3 Was Smart To Skip 1 Overdone TV Arc
Gabriela and Audrey's (forced) friendship actually started when Gabriela selflessly offered to teach Audrey how to swim. Something Audrey should've been able to do before even getting into the training program. And it spoke to Gabriela's character, because most women in her position would not have offered Audrey anything. The revisionist history in this article is wild.
10 Biggest Unanswered Questions After The Fire Country Season 3 Finale
Gabriela's departure does not make sense, and there is nothing reasonable about it. Her dad just got out of prison and he's the only family she has, so it makes no sense she'd leave him. Her newfound 'family" are all likely to be experiencing massive tragedy after the fallout from buena vista, which she would want to be there for as it will impact her too. And after going through such a traumatic experience with Finn, she'd want to stay close to those she loves so she can process and heal. The writers are likely going to write something so ridiculous and out of character to continue the character assignation they started this season with her, and it will all be in an attempt to justify their awful and senseless decision to fire Stephanie Arcila.
Thank God Fire Country Season 3 Saved Bode's Future Before He Gets The Chance To Sabotage It
If anything this episode highlighted why Audrey is not a good match for Bode, and would be much better as friends. She was given a test and failed miserably. Bode is an addict, and whilst the writers have made a point to make his and Audrey's relationship fun and lighthearted, relationships aren't just about fun. He very importantly opened up to her about the pills he was holding onto, and instead giving him better solutions on how to cope, Audrey was making jokes. Bode needs somebody who has his best interest at heart, and is able to challenge, correct and guide him even when it's uncomfortable to do so. Sharon would've done that for Vince in this situation, and from past episodes, there's no doubt Gabriela would've done that for Bode.
Fire Country Season 3 Continues To Prove That Gabriela Isn't Bode's Best Romantic Partner
These reviews are always so biased because the author hates Gabriela. The revisionist history is also very interesting. Gabriela is one of the few people who is able to calm Bode down and get him to rethink his anger and impulsiveness. This article infers that he could only ever be in a relationship with someone who has also been a former inmate, which is ridiculous. Similar paths don't automatically make you good romantic partners. If anything the episode highlights the lack of chemistry between Bode and Audrey, and how they would be better off as friends. There is no ion between them, and it's obvious that she is not only what is currently convenient for him, but she is also a plot device, so I guess it makes sense that some people would fall for what the show is trying to sell.
