In response to Antifan: if you enjoyed it, that's great! Though I'd wager you liked it because you wanted to. I hope there is enough of you for Disney to dump another 180 million on season 2.

The production of this show, specifically the writing, is terrible. It's like they filmed a first draft from a day 1 creative writing class. They failed at the most fundemental lessons in, narrative, pacing, direction, world building, dialog and pretty much everything. I won't say acting, because they had nothing to work with. There is bad film that is fun to watch (Hackers anyone?), but this is just so incompetent that you can't get immersed enough to ignore.

Well Antifan, I don't believe I ever said here that he should be worshipped. He's not infallible, he's made bad decisions. However, it's his story. He created it. Disney paid 4 billion for it. People loved, watched and rewatched it for 40 years. No body will be talking about the Acolyte in 40 days.

My point here was they aren't even keeping to their own canon. It's kind of the point of a shared universe.

Jonathan, It doesn't work like that, by Disney's own canon. You have to focus on it, meditate on it, it's a trial. The crystal fights back. It's not just I'm super angry now my crystal is red. Read the Disney official canon Vadar comic. That's why Kylo Ren's saber was unstable, because he cracked the crystal trying to bleed it.

You're kidding, right? The only reason that cult exists is so Smilo Ren can be unmasked to be one of the moms so she can say "I am your mother". Probably the zabrak so they can have female Darth Maul. This show is horrifically written, and any lore they touch will be destroyed.
