It seem very far removed from any of Tolkien's wrings and ideas of the first and second ages. The character of Galadriel is ridiuclous in the show. She is the most powerful elf lord, not a brain dead girl who acts before she thinks. The plots are tfeeble and the character of Gandalf not credible; in fact the whole series lacks credibility at all. What a waste of time and money, I would have been very happy if it has been watchable and a real attempt to recreate pats of Tolkien's works. It's truly cringeworthy in its failure to understand Tolkien, and embarassing for the actors.
