I’m always surprised by the frequency of this topic. A good character is relatable. What makes these characters and their relationship relatable is their imperfection. They make mistakes, bad decisions and because the intent is recognized, give forgiveness. If this type of behavior was consistent then the relationship would be unhealthy. Relationships are messy, even those that appear to be perfect.
