The more you think about these films, the more plot holes you uncover. The best strategy is to not to think about it too deeply and enjoy it as a fun story. I genuinely don't think any of the plot holes were considered and the screenwriters and directors just wanted to make an enjoyable film. And I personally think they succeeded. Perfect the way it is IMO and doesn't require too much thought or rationality.
