I found Debs death one of the most tragic events on Dexter. I have watched the series several times and still find the moment Dexter lowers Deb into the ocean the saddest moment ever. Her pale face disappearing beneath the surface was gutwrenching

I liked Debs character in each Dexter series. Deb has played such an important and exciting part in so many episodes. Her romantic interludes have been interesting and sad at the same time. I just wanted her to be happy and find a nice guy but just when you think a relationship might work something always happened to crush that hope.
