I think it was to roll out one more character that would have a reason to fight Fisk if the need arose in the future. Although they haven't drawn from it lately, marvel publishing has always been excellent at rolling out characters that make a small splash and then go back into the closet until months or years later they need a plot hole filled so they drag them out and voila. Everything ties together nicely. DC on the other hand has never been able to maintain a story like that (in my opinion).

Not a huge fan of "the big red cheese" (thanks Dr Sivana) but he is, at his core a 'mortal man' it's in the title. However supes being solar powered should have the advantage in a daylight fight. That being said his weakness to magic is a bid deal. Shazam vs the Hulk, that is like to see

I stopped reading king when the week after I finished the stand, he released an all enhanced edition with ANOTHER 300 pages or so. I just don't have that much time in my life. Then when he sold the tower1 chapter at a time I knew it was a money grab. However I found out about 20 years ago why so few of his books make it in the theater. He needs episodic televisions stretched out time table to get you to care and Involved with his characters. Think about original Salems lot, one of his BEST movies adaptions, came from a short story. He does write a Lot and has the experience so his opinion here is valid, having finished the last episode of season 4 last night I agree with him.
