I love this show. But I think it took me over half the first season to figure out the writer or director took a lot of elements from fight club. The way he narrates to no one and having the audience thinking the manifestation is a real separate person that other people are interacting with are the two that stood out the most. So I'd imagine if you liked fight club the movie I could almost bet you would like this show.
