The Real Sequel To Ridley Scott's Prometheus Took 12 Years To Happen And Was Much Better Than Alien: Covenant
Really? A blatantly box-office-driven, by-the-numbers bit of fan-service that failed to capture the horror or tension of Alien/Aliens while also crowbarring in the single most tired, stupid trope to plague the franchise since it first arrived in Resurrection - the alien/human hybrid?
I HATED Romulus. It played it so safe and was so uninspiring, just a lifeless retread of territory covered in the first three films, with charisma-less Gen Z cast badly acting a dull script.
I get that people are tired of Ridley Scott's preoccupation with telling 'big stories' about the origin of the species, meaning of life, what makes us human (he HAS been doing that since Blade Runner, however), but whatever faults you can find with Prometheus and Covenant, they are better than this Netflixy dross.
