In my opinion the only way to do the books justice is to go with animation. Live action was always doomed to fail as there is just so much material in such a short period of time. Actors will age out before it can be finished. Voice actors will not. Just my opinion. Love the books the series was seriously flawed.

The series is making a lot of changes from the books but that's to be expected especially in a series this expansive. I don't necessarily like all the changes but I still love the show.

The Drizzt books are great ( at least the first 6) after that it's pretty much just Salvatore riding the money train. I think the sellswords series was really good and should have been included in the list.
