See AllI'm Sad That Pokémon DLC Might Have Permanently Killed One Franchise Tradition
No. They're sequels to Black and White
Spider-Man (2002) Review: 22 Years Later, I'm Still Convinced We'll Never Get Any Better Than Maguire's Peter Parker & Dafoe's Green Goblin
I don't believe anything.
I'm just stating the facts.
Spider-Man (2002) Review: 22 Years Later, I'm Still Convinced We'll Never Get Any Better Than Maguire's Peter Parker & Dafoe's Green Goblin
The first two movies are PHENOMENAL when it comes to the world and villains and ing characters, but Peter and MJ are utterly TERRIBLE in those movies.
Spider-Man (2002) Review: 22 Years Later, I'm Still Convinced We'll Never Get Any Better Than Maguire's Peter Parker & Dafoe's Green Goblin
Willem Dafoe is going to be unbeatable as Green Goblin, but Tobey Maguire is an utterly TERRIBLE casting as Peter Parker/Spider-Man.
Maguire has ALREADY been RESOUNDINGLY beaten by bout Andrew Garfield AND Tom Holland.
Tom Holland is a better Spider-Man and Peter Parker in every way, and Andrew Garfield is casually a better Peter Parker and Spider-Man than BOTH OF THEM PUT TOGETHER.
People SAY "Robert Downy Jr. IS Tony Stark" or "was born to play Tony Stark".
And...no. He's very good in the role, but he's pretty separate from the character.
Andrew Garfield though....
Andrew Garfield was BORN to play Peter Parker/Spider-Man.
Garfield is Peter Parker ripped straight from the page.
The same looks, same hair, same build, same height, same movements and poses (that neither of the other Spider-Man actors can quite achieve), the same personality - the angst, the charm, the sarcasm, the insults, the genuine caring, the warmth, the fear. And he's the only Spider-Man actor who has frankly been allowed to properly portray the character - the only one with the right relationship dynamics, the right anger, the right jokes, the brains, ACTUALLY being depicted as a brilliant scientist and ACTUALLY doing science, and ACTUALLY inventing his own web shooters and web cartridges, and ACTUALLY finding scientific solutions to beating his villains, rather than Maguire's bare minimum lip service as an excuse to meet supervillains, or Holland being given everything by Iron Man.
Saying "I'm Still Convinced We'll Never Get Any Better Than Maguire's Peter Parker"
.......That's a frankly utterly laughable statement.
You have to know basically NOTHING about comicbook Spider-Man to believe that.
I'm Convinced The Dark Knight Trilogy Made It Impossible For Another DC Movie To Ever Truly Pull Off Batman’s Origin Story
Nonsense.
Batman Begins is the only TRULY great movie of that trilogy.
The Dark Knight is mostly good, but WILDLY overrated.
And TDKR is just bad.
But even Batman Begins is FAR from the perfect origin story for Batman.
It leaves out MOUNTAINS of origin story stuff that's just BETTER than what Batman Begins does.
Origin stories are almost invariably the best superhero movies, so they really SHOULD be doing origin stories for all of them every time, and they're going to NEED TO do a new Batman origin story sooner or later.
There's just LOADS of better stuff to include in Batman's origin than wasting a bunch of time on Ra's Al Ghul nonsense.
I’m Furious All Over Again About Scarlet Witch's MCU Fate After New Marvel Show Footage
She was never set up to be a big villain.
Scarlet Witch is never a big villain.
She's just a minor annoyance.
Kang was always going to be next major villain.
