This retcon is pure trash, plain and simple. Such arrogance to thjnk readers will submit to forced acceptance, when in reality the series will struggle to make sales, and they'll lazily blame the usual "ghosts"

Incorrect, Eddie was in a church, about to end his own life, and Peter used the church bells to drive the symbiote off of him. That's when it went to Eddie. Imo, they should've let Carnage revive Let's, have him be the Codex (and more powerful than the Venom 2 version)
